Qineto values the careful handling of personal data. In doing so, we comply with the requirements set out in the privacy legislation. In this privacy statement, we explain how we do this.

Personal data that we process
Qineto processes various personal data, depending on how you use our services. For example, you provide personal data by requesting the price list, filling out the contact form, sending us an e-mail or making a telephone call. We also collect personal data when you look at our website without being logged in. You will find more information about this under the heading ‘Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use’.
We process the following personal data:
- First and last name
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- IP address
- Internet browser and device type
- Information about your activities on our website
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example in correspondence, via agreements and by telephone.
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not have the intention to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over 16 years old. We therefore recommend that parents are involved in their children’s online activities in order to avoid the collection of child data without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us at email@example.com and we will delete that information.
Why we process personal data
Qineto processes personal data for the following purposes:
- Improving Qbi
- Making it possible to request the Qbi price list
- Analyzing visitor behaviour on the website.
- Sending our newsletter.
- To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary in order to be able to perform our services (for example, when you have filled in the contact form or when you request more information about Qbi).
- To inform you about changes and updates to our services or new developments.
- Improving our website.
How long we store personal information
We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal information. In this way, we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is blocked and that our security measures are regularly checked.
We do not store the data for longer than is necessary. This means that we keep the data for as long as it is necessary to provide the service you have requested. Excluded from this are the data that we need to retain for longer because the law requires us to do so.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
Qineto will share your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and in order to comply with any legal obligation. For example, we may share personal data with our partners if this benefits the handling of our correspondence, agreements, contracts and/or payments.
There are several parties that process your data on our behalf (for example, our hosting party, our bookkeeper/accountant, Slimstat Analytics, MailChimp, PerfectView or MUIS Software). We conclude a processing agreement with them to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Qineto remains responsible for these processing operations.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
Qineto uses functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone on your first visit to this website.
You can unsubscribe from cookies by setting your internet browser in such a way that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored through your browser’s settings.

Analytical cookies enable us to measure your visit to the website. These statistics give us insight into how often our website is used and which pages are visited most frequently. This allows us to know which parts of the website are popular and where we can improve our website. The statistics we collect are based on anonymized IP address and cannot be traced back to individuals. This data is therefore always used anonymously. We use Slimstat Analytics to gain insights from the data.
Analytical cookies collect, among other things, the following data:
- Track the number of visitors to our web pages.
- Keeping track of the duration of the visit.
- The searches carried out on the website.
- Information about your browser and the device you use to visit our website, such as operating system and screen size.
- The way in which you ended up on our website, for example via a search engine.
Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to access your personal data, to correct it or to have it deleted. This can be done in a number of different ways:
- When you have subscribed to the newsletter, you can use a link at the bottom of each mailing to adjust your e-mail preferences or unsubscribe from the mailings.
- If you would like to know which data we store about you, please send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Qineto. You also have the right to data transferability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation you have mentioned. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or for the withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to email@example.com. In order to be sure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to send us a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, take your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Social Security number in black. This is to protect your privacy.
How we protect personal data
Qineto takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration.
